The Sat-Comms Game was founded by Dr. Paul Iliffe, Space Education Specialist, to develop the training that we need.

Effective Learning
My name is Paul Iliffe and I help people to understand the space industry, particularly Sat-Comms. I've combined two decades of work, teaching, and study to achieve effective training for high performance.
I'm fascinated by how we teach, learn, and achieve high performance in all fields, from engineering, to languages, to art. Through my experience I have learnt the universal processes of learning and now I am applying them to space.
Understand the Mission
I guide people to understand your organisation's mission by building frameworks of understanding. To create these franeworks, I guide people to connect the relevant elements, establishing a baseline, upon which further learning can take place.
Expertise in the Field
I have first-hand experience in the space industry, operating spacecraft at Inmarsat, using satcoms for Flight Data ops at British Airways, and teaching 100's of people about space and sat-coms worldwide. I place emphasis on inter-disciplinary perspectives and understanding.
Effective Pedagogics
My work emphasises goal-oriented and effective learning. To achieve this I place great emphasis on well structured and experiential learning, also while encouraging creativity and providing rapid feedback. My methods help people to create their own narratives and frameworks of understanding. This is how we create lasting knowledge
